Session Description
This session will focus on the efforts of the Richard Ivey School of Business to develop a comprehensive volunteer management process. You will learn how creating an integrated system which tracks volunteer recruitment, peer screening results and volunteer assignments and activity can improve your fundraising results and ultimately your relationship with volunteers.

Award Winning Content: In 2010, The Richard Ivey School of Business was awarded the second annual APRA-Canada Award for Prospect Research.This presentation is based on the subject material submitted for the award.

The level of this session is intermediate to advanced.

Speaker Biographies
Sarah McCarthy
Sarah McCarthy has been Associate Director, Research at the Richard Ivey School of Business since 2007.  She joined Ivey as Research Officer in 2003.  Sarah has served APRA as a member of the Board of Directors, as a regional representative and mentor and as a member of the 2010 APRA Canada Conference committee.  Sarah earned a BA degree in English from Siena College (Albany, NY) and a Masters of Public Administration degree from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University of New York at Albany.

 

Erin Bartok
Erin Bartok joined Ivey in 2006 as Research Associate.  She is currently the APRA Canada Regional Representative for London. Erin earned an HBA in Anthropology and an MLIS degree from the University of Western Ontario.
