SEDI is the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders, established by the Canadian securities regulatory authorities. It provides information about the trading activities of directors, senior officers or significant shareholders of Canadian public companies. SEDI can be a source of confusion and frustration for Canadian Prospect Researchers, regardless of financial acumen and experience. This webinar will include searching methodology, clarification and understanding of search results, and new ways to approach the data. Participants will develop (or reinforce) a firm background in the use of this complex but essential tool. They will be well positioned to interpret and identify key financial events for fundraising officers. You may even learn to love it!
