Issue 33 Spring 2011

President's Corner

The main theme of the first issue of 2011 is Prospect Management and Relationship Mapping.  Increasingly, researchers are playing an important role as thought leaders in the development and creation of systems to track & evaluate fundraiser portfolios. I am looking forward to hearing Sarah McCarthy and Erin Bartok's web seminar next month on Comprehensive Volunteer Management based on their award-winning submission for the 2010 APRA-Canada Award in Prospect Research. When I think of relationship mapping, like many of you I think back to David Lamb's excellent presentation at the APRA-Canada 2010 conference and look forward to hearing even more great ideas.

The APRA-Canada Board is diligently working on plans for an active year ahead. In 2011, we anticipate making some strategic investments in order to create an enriched and more polished member experience. As always we welcome your feedback. Please feel free to contact either myself or any Board members with your questions or comments.
