Issue 36 February 2012
Recently APRA Canada upgraded our website with new software and a new membership CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database. The site may look the same to you but these updates will make it easier for APRA Canada volunteers to upload and edit content and will improve how we record members’ contact information and volunteer activities with APRA Canada.

Unfortunately, as we made these changes in our website, some of you may had difficulty accessing the website. I thank you very much for your patience as we worked out these bugs. Please contact me if you continue to have trouble accessing the website or if you have any questions or suggestions to improve it.

Now that we have updated the website software, we will soon be making updates to content on the website. Please stay tuned for a call for volunteers to help update areas of the site including: privacy legislation, research resources, and the research management toolkit.

Lastly, thanks to all of you who participated in APRA Canada’s membership survey in December 2011. We were pleased to once again have a great response from our members. The information you provided will help improve your experience with APRA Canada as you provided excellent suggestions for future webinars, topics for the upcoming conference and ways we can improve your membership experience. The survey is also valuable as it tells us about who you, the members of APRA Canada are. Please look for a summary of the survey and some comparisons with previous membership surveys in the next issue of The Scoop.
