Welcome to 2012!
This year is hardly started and is already shaping up to be a remarkable one for our chapter!
APRA-Canada has plans to participate in a variety of ways to mark APRA International’s 25th anniversary! I’ve volunteered for the Chapter, Leadership and Video subcommittee of APRA 25th Anniversary Committee. This group will be encouraging members to document grassroots chapter history, current involvement and support of the fundraising community through APRA, through videos and social media. More on this as it evolves! As one of the larger chapters, in existence for the last 12 years, together we have also contributed a great deal to the establishment of best practices in our profession.
As this issue outlines, your APRA Canada Board have plans underway through various channels to serve your professional development this year. If you have any questions, concerns or great ideas, please feel free to contact anyone on the Board or myself personally.
