Issue 38 July 2012

While the work in many offices quiets down over the summer, our conference committee work is heating up. Leading Discovery is only three months away!

It was great to see the flurry of registration activity at the end of June as many members took advantage of the early bird rate. We’re pleased to announce that early bird delegate Brian Power, Manager of Prospect Research at Memorial University of Newfoundland, is the lucky winner of an autographed copy of Up and Down, Terry Fallis’ new book.

As you plan your conference days in Toronto, we would like to make special mention of the social and networking opportunities we’re planning for you. We’re hosting an informal cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception at the close of Day One. We are also hosting smaller group dinners at nearby restaurants during the evening of Day Two. More details will be posted on site. We’d like to see all our delegates take advantage of both learning and social opportunities at Leading Discovery. Get to know your colleagues from across diverse organizations and across the country!

We also want to take this opportunity to recognize our valued sponsors. With their generous support, we are able to provide another high quality professional development event. Many thanks go to: Target Analytics/Blackbaud, Blakely & Associates Inc, CharityCAN, Environics Analytics, KCI, and BC Cancer Foundation.

If you haven’t had a chance to register, visit our website http://bit.ly/xCkOJ8. Registration closes at the end of September.
