The last two months have been very busy.  With the Early Bird Conference drive and Apra Canada membership renewal, we were receiving Paypal updates and cheques daily.  We are still getting caught up from all of the activity. Thank-you for your patience, but if you need a receipt or confirmation that you have registered or renewed, please let me know. Both and early-bird conference registration and membership renewal have gone very well.   If you haven’t registered or renewed, there is still time and details are available through the Apra Canada website.

 

With the membership renewal, we had an issue with Paypal where it was double taxing.  We have corrected this problem and I have issued refunds through Paypal to ensure people were not over-charged.  Again, if you have any questions about this please let me know.

 

In terms of the membership’s financial health, we are doing very well right now.  Currently we have $98,458.96 in our accounts. This is a direct result of the conference and all of the early-bird registrations we received.   Our major expenses to date have been teleconference fees (board meetings, conference meetings, and professional development recordings), Paypal fees, and taxes.  We have many conference related expenses coming up, so we will have a better idea of how we’re doing after the conference.
