I am happy to report that there has been a flurry of activity within the Mentorship Program as of late! Over the past year I have matched twenty-three pairs, seven of those within the last two months.
The Mentorship Program is available to APRA Canada members with the goal of helping new researchers get answers to their questions about research and fundraising by providing a positive relationship with a colleague who will serve as a one-on-one mentor and provide professional guidance. Mentors often learn a few tips and tricks from their mentees as well!
I am currently searching for mentors for two new researchers in the Toronto area. I encourage anyone (mentor or mentee) who is interested in finding out more about the program to contact me directly at ebartok@ucalgary.ca.
